Setting Up A Residents Group

If you are interested in setting up a residents’ group, the first step is to ring Emma Sneyd, Neighbourhood Involvement Co-ordinator on 01260 288 275.

Her team will be able to:

  • organise a meeting of interested residents to discuss what the residents' association could do and agree your constitution
  • help you to recruit a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
  • provide training to get you off to a flying start
  • help you set up a bank account
  • provide you with a start up grant of £75 to cover any administrative costs that your group incurs
  • meet The Dane Housing Group recognition criteria for residents' groups

Support to Residents’ Groups

Once your group is up and running, we can offer the following support:

  • annual grants of £75.00 to help with running costs
