Active Communities Fund

The Active Communities Fund is available to Residents’ Groups and Tenant Link Co-ordinators who want to deliver small community based projects in their neighbourhoods.

Small community led projects can make a huge impact in neighbourhoods. Examples of projects that can be funded through the active communities’ fund include:

  • A community fete, sports day or fun day
  • A street party to bring neighbours together
  • A litter-pick to improve the local environment
  • Activities for young people

If you think your project may be eligible for funding, you need to complete an application form. Alternatively you can contact the Neighbourhood Involvement Co-ordinator on 0500 0260079 and they will send you a form out in the post. If you need any advice on completing the form or would like to check out if your project would be eligible for funding please contact the above number.

The Neighbourhood Manager and Neighbourhood Involvement Co-ordinator will consider applications and may request more detailed information. You will be notified in writing if your application has been successful or not. If your application has been unsuccessful we will advise you of the reason.
